1、 The culprit of overloading, ultra-high pressure inflation and tire burst
At present, in order to obtain more economic benefits from more loading, overloaded trucks will still choose radial steel tires with inner tubes, and in order to obtain greater bearing performance, 2-4 air pressures are often added when inflating.
When the actual load capacity of the truck exceeds the maximum allowable load of the wheel, the internal pressure of the tire will increase. When the internal pressure of the tire exceeds the sealing pressure of the tire valve, it will cause the tire to leak. If one tire in the rear double wheel with large load capacity leaks and the driver fails to find it in time, it will cause the other tire in the rear double wheel to overload and burst.
2、 High temperature causes tire pressure and temperature rise, which is more likely to cause tire burst
After using the brake for a long time, the brake drum will gradually generate high temperature. Because the valve of the truck tire is close to the middle of the inner side of the tire rim and close to the brake drum, the high temperature generated by the brake drum will cause the rubber at the bottom of the valve to expand and deteriorate, and the sealing will become worse. Those trucks that often drive in mountainous and hilly areas have to use the brake for a long time, and the sealing of the tire valve is generally poor, so the probability of tire blowout is higher.
3、 The safety performance of the damaged tire is not guaranteed
Inner injury of tire refers to that the inner tube of tire has been repaired due to sharp perforation or valve leakage, and the sealing and load capacity of repaired tire is far less than that of unrepaired tire.
Generally, the repaired tire's inner tube repair area is padded with rubber gasket, which is used to repair the perforation of the outer tube to avoid the repaired tire from "bagging" at the perforation of the outer tube. However, this kind of gasket protruding from the inner surface of the outer tire will wear the inner tire repair under load. If the tire is often overloaded or bumps on the road, it is easy to cause the tire to burst.
4、 Cold water cooling is not advisable, and the tire is easy to burst when it is cold or hot
The tire will heat up after a long time of continuous high-speed driving. If the heat is not released in time, the tire temperature will rise. Excessive temperature rise (over 95 ℃) may cause tire delamination until the tire bursts.
5、 Damaged tires should be replaced in time to avoid friction and heat
Due to the large number of tires in the rear double-axle and semi-trailer models, it is not easy to find a tire burst. After driving, the damaged tire will rub against the intact tire and heat up, until another tire also burst. After the twin tire bursts, the wheel hub will contact and rub with the ground to produce a lot of sparks, which will ignite the damaged tire.
